EarthGov is a term most people use to refer to the global governmental structure remaining on Earth. As worldwide crises continued to mount back in the late 2000s, and weaker countries begain failing, there was a push from global governments to unite under one cause and continue the survival of the human race. Because of the clash of so many cultures and ideals, as well as the refusal of a number of countries to participate, it’s implementation was not without problem, but currently the structure of EarthGov comprises of two representatives from each continent.
Managing entire continents as one district sounds impossible, and it truly is. With the situation as it is, the solution EarthGov was designed to provide is to cover as many people as it can with decisions being made towards mending the many ills that plague the Earth. Once the planet’s impending doom is averted, they can focus on restoring the peace and prosperity of the people living on it. For now, they are simply doing the best they can while maintaining their stance on doing what’s best for Earth in the long run.
By it’s creation, however ineffective people may view it to be, EarthGov is the most powerful governing structure in earthsphere. EarthGov remains relevant even in space, as the GCES is a combination of politicians from varying places of the world, as well as representatives from CST, CSTP, as well as other important stations and colonies.
