Precious is the soil, the water, home and lifeblood to all.
A Human Rights on Earth movement, Precedence Earth was formed by people who want EarthGov to push CST to give the planet more of it’s mined resources, to dedicate itself to saving the Earth as was their original, perceived intention. While not terrorists, demonstrations have found themselves at the gates of Protective Zones, leading to violent outbursts at Presedence Earth rallies between the demonstrators and the MP at the gates, which leaves a bad reputation in the minds of peaceful citizens, and a great majority of Protected Zone inhabitants.
EarthGov’s official stance on the group and others like it is that they’re doing what they can with what EEM operations have been able to provide. The situation on Earth before the EEM initiative began was so dire that even with new sources of minerals and new channels of research and discovery, the requirements and cost to sustain Earth as a survivable planet are nigh insurmountable. Statements like these do little to ease the minds of Earth’s citizens, the poor, the have-nots, who feel as though a life of constant suffering is not acceptable if they are supposedly on the cusp of an unobtainable utopia. As a result, Precedence Earth is just as strong, if not stronger than it was at it’s inception.
